Darryl H.Griwatz, CPL
President
The firm’s President, Darryl H. Griwatz, has successfully served the oil and gas industry for over 39 years. Mr. Griwatz provides executive-level expertise and vision to the management of Honor and client projects. His hands-on management style coupled with his professional ‘can do attitude’ allows him to maintain outstanding client relations while providing excellent services. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a BS and MA in Political Science. In addition Mr. Griwatz served over seven years in the Army as a Counter-Intelligence officer attaining the Regular Army rank of Captain serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. Mr. Griwatz’s unique field and in-house management experience along with his results-driven management philosophy allow him to meet and exceed client’s goals and expectations.

Marie Griwatz
Office manager
Marie has been with Honor over 13 years and is a graduate of West Virginia University with an Associate Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she worked various aspects of nursing including cardiac care, quality improvement, and case management. Marie also spent 6 years working for the State of West Virginia Medicaid Fraud Unit as a nurse investigator. In 2006, she transitioned to the oil and gas industry building experience working first as a title abstractor and then a lease analyst while also balancing duties as the office manager for Honor. Outside of work her interests include art and painting.

Andrea Crow
Accounting Manager
Andrea has worked at Honor for 8+ years and is a graduate of Marshall University with a BA in Marketing. As a Staff Assistant she has been responsible for a variety of tasks including billing, administrative support to Project Managers, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, scanning, and lease/rights-of-way preparation and processing. When not working she loves to read and resides with her family in Ravenswood, WV.

Tessa Kennedy, CPL
project manager
Tessa has been with Honor 12+ years and is a graduate of Marshall University with a BA and MS in Criminal Justice and Criminology. She has a wide range of experience to include project management for various types of projects, in-depth title research and review, lease acquisition and review, rights-of-way and surface acquisition, administrative, solar site project management and acquisition, heirship research, curative, due diligence and mapping. Outside of work Tessa participates in Ironman Triathlons. Recently she competed in her 5th full distance Ironman at Maryland where she was 3rd in her age group and 13th overall female and 5th half distance at Chattanooga where she was 5th in her age group and qualified for the 70.3 World Championship.

Sharee Kidder
payroll analyst
Sharee has been with Honor for over 15 years. As a member of the administrative staff her responsibilities include invoice review/processing and lease package review. Before joining the Honor Team she co-owned and operated a construction/rental property business for 20 years and was a Certified Dental Assistant for 15 years. Her passions outside of work include dance, fitness, remodeling, repurposing, and landscaping. She recently acquired her motorcycle endorsement and her 3rd Certification in Zumba Instruction.

Mendi Raynes Friend
recruitment & staffing
Mendi has been a Staff Assistant/Recruitment and Staffing with Honor the past 9 years and is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Regents Bachelor of Arts. Her responsibilities include client billing, recruiting and staffing. Before joining the Honor Team she worked in various fields providing administrative support in sales and corporate travel planning. Her hobbies outside of work include spending time with her family and keeping up with her 13 year old daughter. She is a huge animal lover and enjoys caring for her small guinea pig farm, two dogs, one chinchilla, one cat, and one dwarf hamster.

Mark Kidder, RPL
project manager
Mark has worked at Honor for 12+ years. As a Project Manager he has a broad range of experience including lease acquisition, title curative and research, and managing projects of various sizes. Before joining Honor, Mark managed a full scale lumber/supply company for over 15 years, and co-owned and operated a construction/rental property business for 20 years. Outside of work Mark enjoys riding his Harley, volunteering with his local church, and working on events within the local community.

Tracy J. Sayre, CPL

As Senior Project Consultant, Tracy J. Sayre, has been actively engaged in the industry for over 39 years. Mr. Sayre’s exceptional combination of both in-house experience with Columbia Natural Resources as Senior Landman and Land Manager for eight years, as well as twenty-two years in the field as an independent landman, crew chief, and project manager, specifically qualifies Mr. Sayre to comprehend the needs of each client and effectively guide every project to a successful completion.
Doug Richards, CPL
Founder VP /Consultant
The firm’s Senior Vice President and Consultant, Douglas J. Richards, has been actively involved in the mineral, telecommunication and pipeline industries for over 46 years. Mr. Richards has successfully served in management roles with numerous oil and gas, coal, fiber optic and gas pipeline companies throughout the Northeast United States. Mr. Richards holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Theology from Providence Theology School. He began his career holding in-house positions with Quaker State Corporation and Hillman Coal Company. He then came Senior Staff Landman for DeltaUS Corp. and District Land Manager for Kerr-McGee Corp before co-founding Honor Resources Company in 1988.
